I have been fortunate to have learned many things from many people, but mostly from three mentors. The first, Mr. Douglas, my piano teacher. He was eighty years of age when he started to teach me when I was eight. Fortunately for him and unfortunately for me, he retired to Palm Springs when he was nearing eighty-four.

     I met Frances Ring, a psychologist/hypnotherapist, when I was nineteen and she, sixty-two. She taught me how to live and also gifted the world an intellectual inheritance for anyone wanting and willing to explore it.

     Six months after meeting Frances, I met Poppy Morgan, who was then thirty-nine and co-owner of The Great American Food & Beverage Company in Santa Monica, California.  This is where I began a journey in search of my voice and the fun begins…….
